Terrace Beach Retreat offers a scenic haven to entertain yourself and relax on beautiful Big Green Lake as vacationers have done for generations. While staying in one of our newly updated, vintage Green Lake cottages, enjoy the sand and small stone beach and excellent swimming our property has to offer, or simply sit back and take in the breathtaking, 7 ½ mile lake view.  Sip your morning cup of coffee from the end of the pier or from your own front porch, basking in the peaceful harmony of nature as the lake awakens to a new day.  After a day of swimming, enjoying the lake and experiencing the attractions in the area, gather your family or friends to watch a gorgeous sunset over the lake as you reflect and share stories by the glow of the fire pit by the shoreline.

We invite you to visit our historic water fountain from the 1893 Chicago Exposition.  May your dreams come true at the wishing well.  Challenge your family to a game of ping pong, volleyball, badminton, corn hole or bocci ball. May you have your own fish story to tell by fishing off the pier, from a boat or with a local fishing guide. Panfish, bass, walleye, northern pike, muskie, rainbow, brown, and lake trout are abundant in the lake, some of which have been caught right off the pier.  Kayaks, canoes, a rowboat and paddle boards are also be available to rent.

The Green Lake area has many activities and attractions to compliment your stay at our retreat. Bring your bikes or hiking shoes and explore the area’s scenic hiking trails, bike trails and biking routes. Rent a jet ski or choose from various types of motorboats available at area boat rental facilities and cruise the entire 29.3 mile shoreline of Green Lake.  Take a canoe adventure on the nearby Fox River or Mecan River.  Challenge yourself to a round of golf at Tuscumbia, Lawsonia or Mascoutin golf courses.  Brush up on your tennis game at the City of Green Lake public tennis courts.  Beat a rainy day by having fun at an area bowling alley or visiting the EAA AirVenture Museum in Oshkosh.
